Magnificent Minerals

Sixth graders have created brochures that give information on minerals.  The brochures included an image of the mineral, four characteristics of the mineral, two uses for the mineral, and information on how the mineral was created.  Students used templates from Microsoft Office Word to complete the project.
Some of the students worked as a team.  Three minerals were researched by each team member and the brochure was developed using combined information.
